Shalayne Mayfield Photography

If you haven't seen Shalayne's amazing photography, I am sorry...but now you can. She is the most amazing photographer/artist/inspirationalist I have ever met. She took what seemed like simple moments in our lives and turned them into the most amazing pieces of art that I will cherish for a lifetime. I can't say THANK YOU enough for your work with our family.

She photographed us on Saturday and the rest should be done in about 2 weeks. I really don't think I can wait much longer.

I know some people may be offended by me being topless and on an open highway but I find it beautiful, and not because it is me. You can see her talent shine though in this picture. She found a way to capture me that shows my strengths and weaknesses at the same time. I have worked hard and dedicated many, many hours to training for triathalons. I am far from being a triathalete but I do work hard. I will never be the best but I am far from the worst. My achievements in athletics make me proud because they are things I am told I can't and shouldn't do. I push myself through more than most people can imagine just to finish. I refuse to let anyone tell me I can't, so I do. This is something that I am truly proud that I do and she captured my beauty, my little rolls and all...

This is what we do most. We hang out in bed, not always topless, and watch TV, play games, read books and much more. It our family time and we bond the most in our room, in our bed. As well all know, this is where it all started for most those little munchkins. I love the way this looks. I say this because they are mine, I truly believe I have the most beautiful, amazing family. I believe each of us brings something different to our family and that is what makes us....well, US.
