First Day of School

I shed a tear as I write this note...Madalyn started First Grade on Monday and it was so sad. She loved it but my little girl is growing up. Madalyn loves school and her new teacher. We are so pleased with our beautiful daughter but time sure does fly when you are having fun!!!!!!!!!!

Danielle's Baby Shower

My little sister, Danielle, is having baby #2. She and Russell will be welcoming Logan Mark Reitz into the family in mid-October. Averi is super excited about her new baby brother and it will be nice for Weston to have someone to place with too. These girls are a bad influence on him.

Here are some pictures of her baby shower that was at my parent's house this past weekend plus some pictures of the kids swimming in the pool.

It was funny to see who could finish their bottle first. I took pictures and didn't play but Danielle thought I would have won.

Donkey See, Donkey Do

David's Aunt Randee has been very ill so the kids and I have taken it upon ourselves to visit all of her babies (pets). If you know Randee you know she loves her 'family' and we didn't want them to feel lonely.

Below you will see pictures of us hanging out with the miniature donkeys. The kids are animal lovers too. I would have one of everything if David would let me but for now I manage by loving all her pets.

(Weston did get a haircut today. David was constantly complaining about Weston's long hair so I gave in, but I loved the surfer dude look. Long, shaggy blonde hair and a killer tan...does it get any cuter?)

The kids just loved petting the very tame donkeys.


P.S. Whether you know Randee or not please say a prayer for this wonderful woman. She needs all the help she can get right now.
